This course is fun, creative and will build skills essential for acting in theatre! You will be introduced to narrative storytelling techniques used in contemporary theatre, creating characters and building an imaginative story-world as an ensemble. Our popular Beginners Acting Courses for Adults offer an introduction to acting in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.​ ​ Our beginner's workshops are for everyone. People attending our courses are from a wide range of backgrounds, from across a broad range of ages 18+, and all attend for different reasons. For some, this is a step towards their goal to become an actor, for others a fun way to meet new people and build confidence. ​ So whether you are an aspiring performer; wish to revitalise your creativity; or simply want to try something new, you will find our classes fun and rewarding. - Tiered pricing We know things are tight right now and we want everybody to have access to high-quality training, so we offer tiered pricing for our beginner's courses. Meaning you can pick the price point that works best for you. ​ Subsidised – If you don’t have the cash right now, don’t worry; book this rate and let us welcome you with open arms, no questions asked. ​​ Standard – If you can afford to, please book this rate, this will ensure we can continue to provide our courses. ​​ Pay It Forward – If you’re feeling generous and you have the means, please consider choosing this rate. Each Pay It Forward place enables our subsidised pricing and scholarships and helps more people to have access to training. All participants, regardless of price, receive the same training. ​ We also offer payment plans at checkout via Paypal. These courses book up very quickly so please book early to secure your place!

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: Cancel payment or contract within 14 days of booking without any reason. The cancellation period ends 14 days from contract conclusion, marked by full payment. To cancel, inform Actors' Institute via email before the 14-day period ends. Effects of Cancellation: Cancelling within the 14-day period ensures a full refund, processed no later than 14 days post-cancellation, using the original payment method, at no extra cost. If services commenced during the cancellation period, you'll pay a proportionate amount based on services rendered until cancellation notice, against the total contract coverage. Refunds: Withdraw from a workshop or course up to 14 days before its start for a full refund. Email office@actorsinstitute.co.uk with course and date details for a refund, processed within 10 working days. Post-course commencement, refunds are unavailable, with fees being non-refundable under all circumstances.
